There is music that never pushes itself into the foreground and is all the more lasting for it. Since her debut album, Danish-born, Berlin-based Agnes Obel has been creating such musical landscapes: somewhere between neoclassical piano, chamber pop, electronic textures and a voice that can be both fragile and compelling. Obel achieved her international breakthrough with »Philharmonics« in 2010, followed by »Aventine« (2013), the more experimental »Citizen of Glass« (2016) and »Myopia« (2020).
