The FUNDUS THEATER | Forschungstheater in Hamburg's Hamm district offers the best entertainment for children of all ages.

The FUNDUS THEATER | Forschungstheater is a special place for theatre experiences with and for children - creative, cross-generational and open to new forms. With its participatory approach and a strong focus on cultural education, it is one of the most influential theatres for young audiences in Hamburg and beyond.

Over 200 events a year are aimed at daycare centres, schools, families and young artists and researchers.

International collaborations, such as with the Tate Modern in London or the Zürcher Theaterspektakel, as well as participation in the 2021 Theatre of the World Festival underline its supra-regional importance.

Awards such as the German Federal Theatre Prize (2015) and the Perspective Prize of the Federal States - German Theatre Prize DER FAUST (2023) recognise the theatre's special work.
