Immersive art has enjoyed great popularity in recent years. This digital art form immerses visitors in the art and history of the artists; it stimulates all the senses and thus creates a unique art experience that goes beyond simply looking at a painting. Port des Lumières is located in the new Hamburg Überseequartier in HafenCity and offers a wide variety of exhibitions in an outstanding architectural setting. It starts with the "Gold and Colour" experience with works by Gustav Klimt, an exhibition of works by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and the contemporary experimental work "Journey" by production studio Nohlab. All three exhibitions are included in the admission price.

The Port des Lumières has a lot to offer visitors. They immerse themselves in the epochs and artworks of the artists and become part of an unforgettable and completely new art experience in which light, colour and music merge into a unique sensory experience.
Port des Lumières has created a magical world of its own for children: Children can interact with their environment and the artworks in the Kids Interactive Studio, which encourages their creativity. Equipped with sensors and digitally connected furniture, the space allows children to create their very own artistic experience at Port des Lumières through playful activities.
A 360° experience thanks to state-of-the-art technology
With breathtaking technology and high design quality - 10 metre high ceilings, a total projection surface of 3,200 m2, 80 video projectors and 50 audio distribution points - Port des Lumières offers a unique and unforgettable experience for the senses. Here, guests can forget everyday life and all its challenges for a moment and immerse themselves in a world full of colour, sound and movement. Tickets are now available from the ticket shop.
