Special places for special exhibitions
Not everything that can be seen in Hamburg comes from the collections of the museums located here. But the great exhibition houses ensure that every exhibition gets the right setting. The Deichtorhallen are themselves an architectural monument and show contemporary art and photography. At the Bucerius Kunst Forum, works by great artists such as Warhol, Pollock and Modersohn-Becker are revisited under specific aspects. The Kunstverein in Hamburg often takes up discourses on current topics with its exhibitions of young artists.
