Altengamme summer swimming pool is situated to the east of Hamburg in a quiet location and is slightly more than half an hour from the city centre. The large pool which is available there is fed with groundwater and is divided into swimmer and non-swimmer zones.
But it is also easy to relax away from the water: On the lawn area, visitors have the opportunity to rest both in the sun and in the shade. For children and active parents, there is a play area and a table tennis table. The swimming pool also has a kiosk that even offers places to sit. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces, but admission is free of charge. The summer swimming pool can be reached via the S21 to Bergedorf and bus no. 228.
Please note that the Altengamme summer pool is not expected to open in 2022 due to renovation work.
