Green meadows, willow bushes, horse pastures and birch trees - the green oasis in the north-east of the city is popular with hikers and horse riders. A varied circular route leads through the Feldmark and past the quarry forest belt.
Deer often graze at the edge of the path. Birds breed in the hedges and willow bushes and dragonflies flutter around the moor pond. The Stapelfelder Moor nature reserve continues on the Schleswig-Holstein side.
