Kellertheater Hamburg

Located in the heart of Hamburg, the Kellertheater offers its guests a special theatre experience in small circles and is a real insider tip.

The Kellertheater, centrally located in Hamburg, is a somewhat smaller theatre, which presents its guests with theatre plays of outstanding quality in a cosy, secluded setting.

Also integrated into the Theaterhaus are a bar counter and a foyer, in which theatre guests can enjoy various drinks before and after the performances in a group.

Founded in the 1950s, the Kellertheater now performs various plays from the comedy, comedy, drama and tragedy genres two to four times a week. Readings and children's plays can also be seen regularly in the Kellertheater. The performance hall, which can be reached from the entrance area via a listed Art Nouveau staircase, can accommodate a total of 90 people.
