Oekohotel Hamburg in the northern Hamburg district of Schnelsen is a particularly convenient location very close to the A7 autobahn exit Hamburg-Schnelsen, the Schnelsen trade fair complex and Modezentrum. From the bus stop Burgwedelkamp 400 meters from the hotel it is about 40 minutes to the center of Hamburg.
The 3-star hotel is a low-energy house built with environmentally compatible building material. All the electrical wiring is insulated, the building has a photovoltaic power system, a combined heat and power unit for heating and electricity, and a rainwater utilization plant for toilet flushing. The hotel has 21 rooms equipped with telephone, fax and Internet access, minibar, cable television, hair dryer and radio. Most of the rooms have a balcony.
