The spacious restaurant Augila in the Lindner Park-Hotel Hagenbeck in Hamburg with over 200 seats welcomes its guests in a colonial-exotic atmosphere of the 19th century.

The Augila Restaurant welcomes its guests in a colonial-exotic ambience, in the style of the 19th century. A special architectural highlight is the real wood floor laid with "tiger oak".

Highly international and totally local.

The name "Augila" was chosen in reference to the extraordinary architecture and the theme of Africa. Augila or Awjila is a historical oasis deep in the Libyan desert. In the kitchen, too, the theme "Journey around the world" runs through the menu, which is always seasonally changing. The kitchen brigade doesn't simply recook dishes that are already familiar from Asian or African countries. Here, new delicious creations are created again and again, in which aromas, herbs and spices of the world are combined with regional products from Northern Germany.
The international cuisine is paired with the preparations, herbs and spices of distant countries and provides a culinary world trip with extraordinary taste experiences.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Eimsbüttel & Eppendorf

Here, one can find magnificent old building façades, local and exquisite restaurants as well as fancy boutiques and owner-operated shops. While Eppendorf is rather fancy, one can feel the hanseatic serenity in Eimsbüttel. Both districts offer much green and water and are hence with good reason very popular neighbourhoods in Hamburg.
