Town Adventure

The somewhat different city tour through Hamburg

Townadventures are exciting, challenging and self-directed city tours where participants not only have a lot of fun but also learn a lot.

TownAdventure's smartphone scavenger hunts are both challenging and satisfying. As participants, you learn about the unknown in different parts of the city, while the main sights are not left out. An informative city tour paired with the incentive to solve the next tricky puzzle makes it possible to acquire knowledge about the city or area of the city in a playful way. This also requires the participants to think for themselves, because you can't just Google the answers.

Team spirit and ingenuity lead to success

Team spirit and ingenuity, creativity and "thinking outside the box" are required. You are on the move, in the fresh air and with the people you love. TownAdventures are time-independent and you can take breaks at your leisure. Quests can be carried out with family or in a small team of friends and uncover small and large highlights that you otherwise so often pass by.

And this is how a TownAdventure city tour works

After booking and redeeming at www.townadventure.de, participants receive an individual access link for the booked quest sent to the email specified in the booking. As the TownAdventure scavenger hunt tours are played using the participant's own smartphone (tablet), they give participants complete freedom as to when and how quickly they are carried out.

The link is called up and the adventure can begin. By clicking on the link, the adventurers dive into the world of riddles and ambiguities and enjoy their time in the city alone or with other loved ones. After the game, they can confidently boast that they have passed this city adventure and now know more about this part of the city than most.

Further information

  • For the Elbphilharmonie tour, please check for possible closures (e.g. due to events) before the planned start date.
  • It is recommended to play with a maximum of five people using the same link to get the interactive side of the quests.
  • Sometimes you can't avoid Google, but it rarely leads directly to the solution. For this, one should rather pay attention to the pictures and the other hints in the tasks.
  • If the link is not redeemed immediately after the purchase, its validity remains. You can even start on one day and continue the quest on another day; the link will always take you back to where you left off.
