We tell the story "The Owl with the Bump" by Susanne Weber and Tanja Jacobs as a Kamishibai. In this storytelling theater, large picture cards are inserted into a wooden frame and displayed to accompany the story.
The little owl suffers a bump and finds comfort from her animal friends in the forest. Each animal offers its help in a unique way: The fox blows on her nose, the mouse brings a bandage, and the snake gently strokes her cheek. But in the end, it's Mama Owl's loving kiss that provides the greatest comfort.
