Diekbek & Rodenbek Spring Valley nature reserves
Separated only by a road, march on to the Diekbek nature reserve with its floodplain forests and meadows. Otters and kingfishers retreat to this refuge. To the north, Wohldorfer Wald is bordered by the hills and valleys of the Rodenbek Quellental nature reserve. Many paths, including the Alsterwanderweg, lead through the valley. The nature reserve got its name from its Rodenbek spring. But the Bredenbek and Mühlenbek also flow into the Alster here. After a wonderful walk in the fresh air, the Gasthof Quellental at the Rodenbek pond invites you to refresh yourself.
