On Open Farm Day, farms across the country open their gates.
The Alvermann family from the Woltem district would also like to show interested visitors their farm, where they grow cherries, melons and pumpkins. The Jäger family will also be presenting their agricultural machinery. The Jägers run an agricultural contracting company in the neighboring town of Bommelsen.
At the open farm day there will also be a number of friendly exhibitors and associations offering hands-on activities for young and old, where farming can be experienced first hand. Food and drink will also be provided.
At 10 a.m. there will be an open-air church service on the farm. The families have also organized a varied supporting program and tours of the farm.
