They enchant their visitors at Rathenaupark in Ottensen with delicious ice cream and dreamy ice cream cakes. Thanks to the glass ice cream laboratory, you can also watch the production of the delicacies. Creativity and good ice cream are rewarded: in 2014, the Gastro-Gründerpreis beckoned and in 2015, the Eisprinzessinnen were among the 40 best ice cream parlours in Germany. And if that's not reason enough for a trip to Hamburg's west, then you should know that every day around 13 unusual ice cream creations are waiting for you from the now over 100 flavours. Their tasty tale began with ice cream and cake – meanwhile, guests can also treat themselves to a rich breakfast or homemade lunch. There are now two Lieblings Eis shops in Hamburg: one in the city centre on Burchardplatz and one in St. Pauli on Detlev-Bremer-Strasse. The ice cream varieties include tried-and-tested classics such as strawberry and hazelnut, but you can also expect more unusual combinations such as chocolate-orange, zabajone and cinnamon plum. Fancy a surprise? Then Delzepich ice cream is the place to be! Here, pure happiness is served in a cone. And every day there are different ice cream flavours to choose from, freshly made with love every day. For example, there's mascarpone raspberry, peanut butter, Nutella (caution, addictive!) and caramel walnut ice cream. Delzepich Eis is located not far from the Außenalster and is more than worth the small diversions. At Delzepich Eis, what you see is what you get. An ice dream with ski jump flair. Everyone gets their money's worth at the Eisbande! The ice cream parlour is not particularly large, but the selection makes up for it. It's hard to pass up a second and third scoop. Don't be put off by the long queue – sometimes it takes a little longer. By the way, all the ice cream is produced on site and made exclusively from natural ingredients.

In Bahrenfeld, pirates of an exceptional kind rattle their cones and spread joy and full bellies instead of fear and terror with their ammunition consisting of 180 different types of ice cream. New, crazy ice cream varieties are conjured up daily in the in-house galley. Adventurous ice cream lovers are well catered for here: in addition to the classic flavours, there are specialities such as cream cheese, liquorice, or cucumber. And there are also vegan and lactose-free alternatives. The Eispiraten are a real Hamburg highlight, especially for young sailors.
