T.A.T.E. in downtown Hamburg offers casual, robust clothing for men and women in a pleasant atmosphere.
The shop, which belongs to the large Thomas I Punkt store chain, has nothing to do with London's Museum of Modern Art. Here T.A.T.E. stands for "Tough Against The Elements" and waits with casual to noble streetwear for men and women.
Over two floors with DJ sound, jackets by Carhartt or Fjällräven defying the elements, shirts and sweats by Alternative Apparel, Retrosneaker, Raw Denim jeans or parts of the not quite cheap Maharishi label fill the shelves. A big plus in Hamburg's often bustling inner city: in the bright, spacious T.A.T.E. rooms, nobody loses track of things so quickly.
