In the beer garden "Zum Anleger" pedal boats, canoes and stand up paddle boards are rented.

The canoe rental with beer garden is located in a beautiful, green spot directly on the water's edge of the Elbe. From here, Wilhelmsburg can be discovered by canoe, pedal boat or standing up on a SUP. In any case, no one will starve on the water. If you are on a canoe circuit and paddle to the "Willi Villa", you can fortify yourself with a fresh waffle before heading back and you are well equipped.

During the week you can drop by anytime and don't need to reserve a canoe. On weekends it is advisable to reserve a canoe, as the watercrafts are just as much in demand on hot days.
Reservations can only be made by e-mail.

The beer garden

In the beer garden, you have time to unwind and escape from the big city. In a cozy atmosphere, the menu offers a wide selection: from grilled specialties to fresh tarte flambée and vegetarian dishes. Not only do you eat with a fantastic view of the water, but also with a clear conscience, because the dishes on offer are all regional and homemade.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Wilhelmsburg & Veddel

The Elbe Island of Wilhelmsburg is embedded between the southern and northern Elbe. It impresses visitors with a mixture of industrial charm and bustling life with multicultural flair. With its historic buildings, cafés and shops, the Wilhelmsburg Reiherstieg area is especially popular. It is even called "Little Berlin" due to its transformation in recent years. And then there is the neighbouring island of Veddel, which also has much to offer.
