Around the Alster in 7.4 km

Probably the most popular and most frequented jogging trail is the circuit around the Außenalster. Here you definitely jog among like-minded people. On the very well developed and continuously flat track, stones mark the distance every 500 meters. Whoever starts at Café Cliff starts from zero. Orientation is always easy along the water. Whether on the left or right, everyone has their preferences - best try both, because of the wonderful view.

Jogging in the park for about 2.3 km

Planten un Blomen is - like a lap around the Alster - a course close to the city. It is easy to reach and very green and varied. We recommend starting at the entrance opposite the television tower. From here, you can take different paths.

If you start towards the open-air stage and keep left and head further towards the Radisson Hotel am Dammtor, you can take a small bend at the end of Wallgrabensee/Stefansplatz and climb up the Mediterranean terraces to the greenhouse and from there back to the original main path. This distance amounts to approx. 2.3 km. If you want to run longer, you can vary the length of the route in the park as you like.

The Volkspark offers a nice change from the otherwise very flat jogging routes of Hamburg with its gentle uphill and downhill with gradients.

In addition, with its numerous gardens, the Volkspark offers a wide variety of plants and, thanks to its winding architecture, a system of paths that allows you to vary the length of the course as you wish. Starting from the S-Bahn station "Stellingen" or from the bus stop "Trabrennbahn" you can cover at least 5 km.
