The puzzle hunt on board the CAP SAN DIEGO is an interactive combination of treasure hunt with Escape Game elements and sightseeing of the ship. Skill, brains and combination skills are required to recover the ship's forgotten treasure. The group, consisting of 1-7 people, embarks on an adventurous voyage across the ship, discovering places that the normal museum visitors can avoid, and makes use of their toolkit, which they receive at the beginning of the puzzle hunt, to complete the tasks.
A mysterious ancient document reveals numerous puzzles
During the puzzle hunt across the entire CAP SAN DIEGO you will discover the ship, solve puzzles and tasks and find together the forgotten treasure of Cap San Diego. You will become the main characters of the following story:
During renovation work on board the ship, a mysterious old document was found under the old planks, which you have to take a closer look at. It takes you on a journey across the ship where you'll solve puzzles, use your wits, and prove your teamwork skills. Only those who can solve all puzzles are worthy of the treasure.

The puzzle hunt was designed for adults, but can of course also be played by families. For a pure children's group it is only suitable from the age of 13. If younger children are present, the continuous presence of an adult is required. You can play the puzzle hunt with 2-6 persons per group. Depending on how detailed you look at the ship during the puzzle hunt, you should allow between 60-120 minutes.
You can play the puzzle hunt with sufficient capacities without registration. Simply come aboard the CAP SAN DIEGO and report to the ticket office. If you want to be on the safe side, book an appointment in advance. When ordering, choose "Payment on site" and bring your Hamburg CARD with you on the day of your visit.
