Wildpark Schwarze Berge

Experience nature

The Wildlife Park Schwarze Berge transports its visitors to the middle of nature and is ideal for family outings due to its wide range of attractions.

South of Hamburg-Harburg is the beautiful green area, which was founded in 1969 and is open all year round. The park itself is located in the Harburg mountains. On an area of 50 hectares, 100 animal species with almost 1,000 animals are presented. The wildlife park invites its visitors to observe native animal species such as red deer and wolf. In the park there are spacious enclosures for deer and bison, so that visitors can observe these fascinating animals in natural surroundings. In addition, the wildlife park offers visitors the opportunity to attend interesting events such as air shows or animal feedings. For the latter, wolf feeding is highly recommended. For the little ones there is a playground and a petting enclosure in the Black Mountains Game Park, where children can pet and feed West African mountain goats. Thus the game park guarantees an eventful stay for the whole family.

On the site there is the possibility to enjoy the whole port of Hamburg including the telecommunication tower Hamburg-Lohbrügge as a view from the Elbblickturm. Visitors also have the option of guided tours. The Nature Experience Centre also offers various theme days during school holidays.

A viewing tower offers a host of new perspectives of the growing HafenCity in Hamburg. However, it is not only the view which is spectacular. The View Point itself is very eye-catching.

Hamburg's water station. Landungsbrücken

The floating dock - called the "Landungsbrücken" (landing stages) – is 700 metres long. Harbour tours and the HADAG steamers to Finkenwerder, Oevelgönne and Blankenese leave from this water "station". Impressive luxury cruisers also dock here from time to time.
