Typical Hamburg - Port flair Unser Hamburg

Accompany your guides on the plaza and enjoy the unique views over the harbour and the city.

On this tour you will see how two entirely different places grew together: the historical Speicherstadt, the largest contiguous warehouse complex in the world, and the HafenCity, a brand new part of town with modern architecture: a pearl of urban planning. You start with an unforgettable view over Hamburg's harbour with stories about the history of the harbour. Where is the Rickmer Rickmers and where does the Cap San Diego go?

The harbour panorama includes the Dock Elbe 17 and the two musicals in the harbour. It passes the old harbour police towards the Kaffeerösterei. Right next door you will find the world's largest model railway, the Miniature Wonderland and the Hamburg Dungeon. Then you go to the HafenCity. The traditional ship harbour welcomes you with its historic ships and you stand on the most modern pontoon in the world, the Magellan terraces. From here you have a magnificent view of the landmark of Hamburg, the Elbphilharmonie.

Then you pass Sandtorpark to the continue to Magdeburg Harbour, home of the Green Peace Europe headquarters; you stop at a statue to learn more about the legend of Klaus Störtebeker and his privateers. The tour continues to the Marco Polo terraces, site of the Unilever headquarters, which form an architectural unit with the Marco Polo Tower residences. Both are right next to the cruise terminal, where great cruise liners such as the AIDA ships, TUI Mein Schiff moor, or the Queen Mary 2. Perhaps one of these ships is also at anchor when your tour goes by?

As it is typical for Hamburg people, this tour will be permanently discovered with our sustainably active partner Unser Hamburg

The team of Unser Hamburg is actively committed to sustainable tourism, especially by promoting social viability within city tours. Their tours were awarded the Fairtours Seal. Through the formation of smaller groups of visitors, who can explore the diverse atmospheres of the districts of Hamburg on foot the balance between the satisfaction of the tourists and the hamburgers succeeds. For example, large groups of visitors are prevented from blocking sidewalks for residents, and voice amplifiers are only used in defined areas. But sustainability also takes part in their team management. Fresh regional fruits are available to employees every day in the office, and fair working conditions with company health management are also promoted.
