Travel options

For the perfect arrival

The Stage Operettenhaus is located in the heart of St. Pauli on the Reeperbahn, in the immediate vicinity of the "Dancing Towers". A moving story is concealed behind this name. Opened in 1841 as "Circus Gymnasticus", it was renamed to "Central-Halle" about 25 years later and in 1920 to "Operettenhaus Hamburg". Neither destruction during the war nor any other ups and downs have prevented the house from maintaining its firm place in the cultural scene. Be inspired by this modern and at the same time traditional house. It has a modern foyer on two levels, whose large window front offers an exciting view of the famous Reeperbahn.

To what extent are distance regulations reflected in the seating plan?

The organizer follows all currently applicable regulations to ensure that you have a carefree visit to the musical. These include the minimum distance in the foyer and all waiting areas as well as the auditorium.

The regulations permit so-called "checkerboard" seating. In this case, two seats are placed next to each other and two additional seats to the right and left are empty.

A booking for three or more seats is possible. However, even within such a booking, two spaced seats always remain free.

What are the admission requirements?

Due to the current Corona regulation in Hamburg, the official requirement applies that cultural events, such as musicals, may only be carried out under the so-called 2G-Plus regulations from January 10, 2022.

It is necessary that - in addition to the digitally verifiable proof of a complete Covid19 vaccination or a successful recovery - you also have to provide a negative corona test in order to be able to attend the show. Official PCR or antigen rapid tests from test centers, medical practices, pharmacies, etc. are accepted, but no self-tests. A rapid antigen test may have been tested a maximum of 24 hours ago, and a PCR test a maximum of 48 hours.

Please remember to bring your official photo ID (identity card, passport, driver's license, ID card for the severely disabled). In addition, all guests must wear a medical mask throughout the theater.

People who have already received a booster are exempt from the additional test requirement (immediately after the booster). People who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons are obliged to present a negative corona test.

Children and adolescents up to and including 15 years of age are currently exempt from presenting proof of vaccination or convalescence and can visit our theaters without a vaccination or test.

Will visitors be required to wear a mask during the show?

Currently, wearing a mask is mandatory. Children up to the age of six are exempt from wearing a mask.
