The AIDA Arena Opera Spectacle offers you a unique audiovisual spectacle full of emotions. Experience the rousing story of AIDA and Radames, which is characterized by love, rivalry and hope.

The beauty of opera in an extraordinary venue

A unique production, opulent costumes and spectacular stage effects distinguish the breathtaking show. The entire arena becomes a stage and soldiers, priests and the magnificent Egyptian women in the entourage of the beautiful Princess Amneris approach from all directions. The AIDA Arena Opera Spectacular will make you forget everything around you.

Spectacular staging

The show will thrill you with over 250 performers, hundreds of spotlights, video projections and animations, and a massive stage design. Be amazed by the elaborate production and the fascinating combination of traditional opera elements and modern technology. Scenes of individual soloists are transmitted up close on the huge circular LED wall directly above the stage, allowing you to immerse yourself in this unforgettable world.

Public Transport / HVV S3 and S21 to Stellingen. From there you can reach the arena with the event shuttle bus service.
By car On event days the Sylvesterallee is completely closed, please use for your navigation system the addresses Hellgrundweg 50 for the parking spaces ROT, GRAU (close to the Barclays Arena) and BLAU (VIP guests, wheelchair users) or Schnackenburgallee 112 for the parking spaces WEISS and GELB.
Parking Paid parking in front of the arena (9,00 €, for campers 27,00 €).
Admission 1,5 hours before showtime.

When is admission to the arena?

The arena opens 1.5 hours before the start of AIDA. One hour before the start of the event you can find your seats. We recommend arriving on time, as unfortunately no consideration can be given to the volume of traffic.

Is the musical suited for children?

The event can be attended by children from 7 years of age under the supervision of a guardian. Children under 6 years of age are not allowed to attend the event.

Can bags and backpacks be taken to the performance?

Handbags and backpacks whose size exceeds DIN A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) are not permitted in the arena. If it is unavoidable, the luggage can be stored temporarily in front of the arena for a fee.
