AUSSTELLUNG: Fairer Handel WELTWEIT
KOSMOS presents an exhibition on fair trade with photographs by Dr. Jutta Ulmer and Dr. Michael Wolfsteiner.
"Dr. Jutta Ulmer and Dr. Michael Wolfsteiner are well-traveled fair trade photographers and are known under the name lobOlmo. They visit small farmers and artisans around the world to document their everyday lives photographically. The exhibition presents selected images from the photojournalist duo. The photographs were taken between 2009 and 2020 in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Germany. The 22 large-format exhibits are artistic photographs and image compositions that provide touching insights into the working world of fair trade producers. Fair trade focuses on people, not profit. The aim is to create humane living and working conditions worldwide and to open up future prospects for small farmers and artisans. Dr. Jutta Ulmer and Dr. Michael Wolfsteiner show how this is achieved and on which principles fair trade is based with their sensitive images."
