Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm, a circle meets with YOGA enthusiasts to deepen their knowledge of YOGA and their body experience through exercises. The lessons are taught by a YOGA teacher, who obtained her teaching license at the YOGA-Institut Mumbai (India) in 2009 and who constantly develops herself through intensive self-work on body and mind. The course of the lesson is as follows (all lessons are subject to a topic):
At the beginning 3 min. Silence with repetition of a theme that fits the topic (Conditioning)
10 - 15 min. Short presentation with possible subsequent discussion
a breathing exercise
an exercise series to warm up (Five Tibetans or the Sun Salutation)
usually 10 ASANAS (krpl. positions - standing, sitting and lying down)
15 - 20 min. Final relaxation with background music.
The topics are either of general psychological interest such as. Happiness, love, strength related to YOGA knowledge or YOGA theory such as PRANA, ASHRAMAS, NIYAMAS, etc. Usually, one subject has six lessons.
