Woodcut workshop / ”Greenhorn“
You`re interested in printmaking, woodcut in particular, but you have no clue where and how to start with it?
Then you`re in the right place here.
On this one day workshop you will get insights in the basics of this interesting and versatile technic. What kind of wood can you use, how do you get your ideas on the wood, which format should the wood and the paper have, with what tools do you cut the wood with and how do you print all that then? Also leaving a clean workspace and cleaning the tools of the trade will be part of the workshop.
Goal on this day are clearly the basics of woodcutting and your first little, single colored woodcut print.
This is a one-day workshop, i will provide the cutting tools and further material (Please bring a sketchbook).
Cost per person: 110,00 / Workshop is limited to five persons
