Wattwanderung in Friedrichskoog
- Excursions & Hikes
Watts to experience and touch - on a discovery tour in the national park we will explain the most important animals and plants in the mudflats and give you a special insight into the world natural heritage.
Explore the national park off Friedrichskoog-Spitze, walk on the seabed and be provided with expert information by the team at the Wadden Sea Conservation Station! On our 1.5-hour mudflat hike we get to know many small and large animals in the mudflats: we observe cockles, lugworms and beach crabs in their natural habitat. This experience is simply part of a holiday on the North Sea! Barefoot is a lot of fun! Rubber boots are recommended in colder temperatures.
