The BelleSon Shanghai Trio brings together three outstanding musicians from the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. With their international experience and subtle interplay, they form an ensemble of exceptional artistic quality that captivates with its beautiful sound, elegance, and passion.

Under the theme of »Romanticism and Passion«, the trio takes the audience on a musical journey across continents and eras—from Liu Junhao’s heartfelt poetic meditation to Debussy’s only piano trio to Piazzolla’s tango worlds. After the intermission, the program continues with an excerpt from the famous Chinese masterpiece »The Butterfly Lovers«, a waltz from Prokofiev’s opera »War and Peace«, and, as a brilliant finale, Piazzolla’s “»he Four Seasons of Buenos Aires« – a passionate homage to tango and the pulsating soul of the Argentine metropolis.

The BelleSon Shanghai Trio thus combines Eastern poetry, French impressionism, Russian drama, and South American temperament to create a concert evening full of color, emotion, and virtuosity.
