Lecture: One death - many answers!
At the end of our lives, we can trust the beneficial offers in hospice and palliative care. This form of care relieves suffering and ensures our self-determination. Timely preparation helps us to receive these offers in an emergency. In this way, we can already protect ourselves from outside control and unnecessary suffering. And yet it is so difficult for us to define our wishes or to discuss them with our family, friends or our doctor. The qualified psychologist Angela Reschke explains the need behind it. In doing so, she addresses the challenges and opportunities that lie in dealing with finiteness. Encouraging, she reports about the dying who have determined their farewell independently and made it worth living. Finally, she presents the offers of hospice and palliative care and answers the questions of the listeners.

4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Four short lectures by volunteer hospice workers
Volunteers accompany dying, farewell and mourners. Four tell of it and moments of great intensity and truthfulness in which they have experienced meaning and personal growth.
