In the ruins of the old amphitheater on the outskirts of town, a strange girl appears one day: Momo. No one knows who she is or where she comes from. She owns nothing but what she finds or what is given to her. The children of the town quickly take her to their hearts, for Momo is special: she listens to them and gives them her time. One day, the mysterious gray men appear all over the town. They want to steal people's time to use it for their own purposes. But Momo recognizes the danger posed by this dark power. Together with Master Hora, the guardian of time, and his tortoise Cassiopeia, Momo confronts the gray men to return the stolen time to the people. Over 40 years ago, Michael Ende's world-famous fairy tale novel "Momo" was first published and has lost none of its relevance.
