With his vlogs, humorous contributions and gripping piano interpretations, Louis Philippson is particularly popular with Generation Z for classical music and has already amassed 750,000 followers. The musical talent of the 21-year-old from Mülheim an der Ruhr was discovered on YouTube at the age of seven by his future piano professor. Alongside his music career, he is studying international business and music and works as a presenter for Toggo and ZDF. Louis Philippson’s debut album, »Exposition«, will be released on 14 February 2025, in which he combines his own compositions with new, colourful arrangements of songs from a wide variety of genres. He skilfully combines poetic piano versions of »OMG« by K-pop band NewJeans with a dynamic arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto, creates elegiac piano versions of melodies from Mahler’s Symphony of a Thousand or plays anime classics.
