More than 200 events attract visitors to Nature Day in Hamburg. The multifaceted focus of this year's event is called "Wonder Forest". At the event, numerous partner organizations, together with city residents and guests, can get up close and personal with native trees. A habitat, natural air humidifier, raw material supplier, CO2 converter, shade provider and also good for the soul ... trees have many functions, almost all of which have positive impacts on human communities.
On discovery tours, walks, excursions and outings with a special research focus, the program takes us to forest areas in and around Hamburg and out into the metropolitan region. What does this versatile habitat offer? What can we do to preserve it? This event includes expert guided tours on land and water, on foot, by bike and boat, activities for children and families, for creative people and those with a thirst for knowledge.
