It is no exaggeration to say that pianist and composer Julius Asal has already had a remarkable career at his young age, since he was announced as Deutsche Grammophon’s new exclusive artist in October 2023. Subsequently, in 2024, he was selected by BBC Radio 3 for a two-year collaboration as a New Generation Artist and named Rising Star 2024 by Classic FM. In August 2025, Julius Asal’s latest album will be released by Deutsche Grammophon: »Siena Tapes«. In addition to works by Maurice Ravel and Christian Badzura, the album also features Julius Asal’s own interpretations. He will now bring this very album to the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, where he will return to the stage almost exactly one year after his first guest performance.
