The exhibition "Jews in Hamburg" shows the eventful and eventful history of the Jewish inhabitants of the last 400 years: the difficult beginnings around 1600, the arduous process of emancipation to legal equality in the late 19th century and the heyday during the Weimar Republic as well as the time of the National Socialist era Pursuits and the construction of the present community after 1945.
