The 26th Chinese New Year Concert marks the beginning of the Year of the Horse with a magnificent musical experience that highlights the diversity of Chinese musical tradition. Under the baton of Maestro Sun Peng, the traditional Chinese orchestra Wuxi unfolds a broad spectrum of sounds – from festive overtures to works that engage in dialogue between the past and the present, accompanied by the rarely heard Chinese instruments pipa and erhu.
