Frank Lüdecke is one of the leading political cabaret artists in Germany. For a long time he was a member of the "Scheibenwischer" (ARD), the "Satiregipfel" (ARD) and can be seen today in the "Anstalt (ZDF)" as well as in all satirical programs of the third programs, such as "Mitternachtsspitzen" (WDR) or " Schlachthof "(BR). Lüdecke has received the German Cabaret Prize, the German Cabaret Prize, the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, the Salzburg Bull and many other awards. For many years he was the lead author and team-mate for Dieter Hallervorden, directed and is responsible for the cabaret DISTEL in Berlin currently since August 2019 new operator and artistic director of the legendary Berlin "porcupines", the oldest cabaret in Berlin.
In his brand new program, he uncovers the hidden connections between climate research, e-scooters, negative interest rates and basic income. What role does democracy play in this context and who is Anja Karliczek? Lüdecke makes political cabaret at a time when one wonders what politics still make up today. For this, he also takes smaller borrowings from philosophy. Lüdecke may be a little more subtle, but it is entertaining. There is also music.
