They are the most famous lovers of all time: Romeo and Juliet. Italian bel canto composer Vincenzo Bellini wrote a particularly beautiful opera version of their tragic story, and his melodious and stirring work is performed here in the Grand Hall by the Hamburg-based Ensemble Resonanz, the WDR Radio Choir and a top line-up of soloists.
