Zoo in Concert - the new musical highlight of the summer. The sun slowly disappears behind the historic rock, golden yellow light sparkles on the Burma pond - it is evening in the zoo. But this evening will be very special. Everywhere notes fly through the air, live music of different genres transforming zoo into an open-air stage with exotic flair.
On 10, 17 and 24 August from 6 p.m. you can look forward to the new summer highlight of the zoo in Concert. 15 different bands, artists and musicians will provide an unforgettable animal musical night amidst 1,850 animals. Already with the greeting it goes musically to.
Fiesta, Jazz, Schlager - For every taste
The Spanish Brothers' voices invite the guests to a melodious evening with fiesta music and the mobile party band Big Feed Boys encourages them to sing along. Friends of classical music will be enchanted by the duo Troveromit, who will perform varied old tango classics as well as Argentinian folklore and film music. The Elbsound Jazz Orchestra with classics from the 30s to 50s, swing and funk will provide lively entertainment in front of the impressive Arctic Ocean scenery, while the Helene Fischer Double will not only encourage pop lovers to dance along.
Well-known melodies and a good mood in Hagenbeck Zoo
A little calmer it goes with High Tones. The well-rehearsed trio always hits the right note with its swing interpretations. Poetry slammers take up the theme of music in a literary-humorous way and ensure that no eye remains dry. With the band Hamburg Jukebox the sound is the special thing. Current titles from the charts are rearranged and invite you to dance and pause. On the beautiful water stage at the Japan pond, the Afro Gospel Choir with its well-known melodies will keep you in a good mood and alphorns will surprise you with their unique sound. The gentle sounds of the Hang Percussion in front of the Thai Sala sound dreamily beautiful and invite you to dream. At the Tigerrasen fans of Latin American music get their money's worth.
Latin American sound to dance with
Primera Diversión-the Salsa & Latin Jazz Bigband invites you to dance with their Latin American sound. In order to make this easier for all guests, the dance school Salsa Diversion! Salsa taster courses are offered. Several sound installations are available for the smallest visitors to the zoo and invite them to become musicians themselves. The musical talent can be tested extensively on the participation instruments. ENERGY also provides good entertainment, music and great prizes.
Hagenbecks also says goodbye
Even the completion of zoo in Concert will be a listening and viewing experience. Accompanied by golden rain showers and golden light effects, all guests will be invited to join the artists in singing the great closing song "In Hamburg sagt man Tschüss". At 10 p.m. a musical evening comes to an end that has never been so unique at Hagenbeck. No separate entrance fee is necessary.
