Discovery Dock

With the Discovery Dock, a unique place was created in 2019, where the port of Hamburg with all its facets becomes an impressive digital and visual experience.

The focus of the exhibition has now been expanded to include the whole of Hamburg.

Discovery Dock is the first interactive mixed reality experience of its kind. State-of-the-art VR technology, projections and live situations bring Hamburg to life. The new Discovery Dock offers 120 minutes of unforgettable Hamburg time.

Breathtakingly realistic, you discover Hamburg's cultural scene live, browse through the hidden corners of the port and see Hamburg from a bird's eye view by flight. A special exhibition spins around the exciting events of the G20 summit in 2017 and reports on the occasion and protests.

Behind the fascinating VR worlds and content is the Hamburg know-how of the editors of HAMBURGER MORGENPOST and the VR expertise of the specialists from Bizzlogic at VRHQ Hamburg. The Discovery Dock has much more to offer - including insights into the MOPO archive with articles on important Hamburg personalities.
