Miniatur Wunderland

Not only is Miniatur Wunderland the world’s largest model railway exhibition, it also allows visitors to experience many days and nights in different regions of the earth. From shopping in Hamburg to gambling in Las Vegas and rowing through the Norwegian fjords – everything is possible at Miniatur Wunderland.

Hamburg Dungeon

A spine-chilling historical experience! On a 90-minute interactive tour professional actors take you on a fascinating journey into Hamburg’s dark and insalubrious past, from the pirate Störtebeker and the great fire of 1842 to the Inquisition and the plague. With special effects and two exciting rides, this close-up encounter brings the more grisly parts of Hamburg’s history to life.

Fire station tour

Ever wondered what it’s like to work in the fire department control centre of a city like Hamburg? Every day, 650 fire service call-outs are coordinated from here. As part of a guided tour, you’ll visit the fire and rescue station and the environmental protection station. The highlight of the tour is the chance to see inside the fire department’s control centre/emergency call centre.

Tea tasting and afternoon tea at Messmer MOMENTUM

A fascinating world of tea awaits visitors to Messmer MOMENTUM, the wonderful interactive tea museum in Hamburg’s HafenCity. On a 90-minute course you will learn lots of fascinating facts about tea and sample over 35 different varieties just like a professional tea taster. The session ends with an English-style afternoon tea served in the tea lounge.

  • Maximum attendance: 40 people
  • Dates: daily between 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. and 3:30–6:00 p.m.
  • Duration: ca. 1.5 hours tea tasting and afternoon tea (ca. 30–60 minutes)

International Maritime Museum

Discover the world of seafaring: located in Hamburg’s oldest surviving warehouse, the International Maritime Museum presents 3,000 years of seafaring history with priceless exhibits from around the globe. Welcome aboard for wind and waves, explorers and pirates. Over 40,000 miniature models, a treasure chamber with ships made of gold, silver and amber, the Queen Mary 2 built out of a million Lego bricks and a real ice wall that you can touch.
