    B - Kesselhaus

    KESSELHAUS is situated in a historic brick building dating from 1886/87, which was formerly the Speicherstadt power station. The café terrace by the water offers a wonderful view of the historic buildings of the Speicherstadt. The HafenCity InfoCenter has a 32 sq. metre urban model on display showing the current state of the project.

    C - Elbphilharmonie

    Located at the top of the Kaiserkai is the prominent KAISPEICHER A which is becoming a new landmark of Hamburg through the construction of the spectacular Elbphilharmonie. The completion of the construction work by the Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron which has also attracted international interest is scheduled for 2011.

    D - MAGELLAN-TERRACES

    In front of the Bankhaus Wölbern building take the steps down to the MAGELLAN-TERRACES. Named after the famous navigator and explorer, the square offers a view of Hamburg's first man-made dock, the Sandtorhafen. A harbour museum has housed a large number of historical ships from 2008.

    E - Klaus Störtebeker

    The monument to the legendary pirate KLAUS STÖRTEBEKER is located directly behind the Marco-Polo terraces. Since 1982, Hansjörg Wagner's bronze statue has commemorated the legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker who was beheaded along with his companions in west Speicherstadt in 1401.

    F - View Point

    You can find the unmistakable orange viewing tower right next to Klaus Störtebeker. From the 13-metre tower, you can not only follow the progress of the construction work in HafenCity, you are also really close to the CRUISE CENTRE. When the large passenger ships come to dock at The Port of Hamburg, this "Cruise Centre" has become an attraction for tourists from all over the world.

    G - Hamburg Cruise Centre HafenCity

    The construction of the Hamburg Cruise Centre in HafenCity has created a temporary cruise terminal close to the city centre, which was able to welcome its first visitors in April 2004. The 1200 sq. metre Terminal 1 is impressive on account of its simple yet unique architecture. Here, two very familiar elements of shipping serve as a leitmotif: The sea container and the white sail.

    Kaispeicher B houses the world's largest private collection of maritime treasures from 3,000 years of shipping and marine history.
