    From 24 June until 08 July 2018, the HAMBURG BALLET is performing numerous by John Neumeier, including classics such as "Ninjinsky", "Duse" and "Turangalîla".

    The ballet festival, which is celebrating its 44th anniversary, is opening with the premier of John Neumeier's "Beethoven-Projekt", a Neumeier-Creation containing works of the famous composer. 

    The audience can also enjoy the ballet "Anna Karenina", which last year opened the Ballet Days, based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy and with music by Tschaykowski and Schnittke.

    Hamburg Ballet Days In summer 2014 the HAMBURG BALLET celebrates its 40-year anniversary with John Neumeier as director. The finale of this season is the 40th Hamburg Ballet Days which have been extended to three weeks. During this period the HAMBURG BALLET, including the ballet school and FEDERAL YOUTH BALLET, will present a presumed record of 16 different programmes. In this way, all the ballets during the season can be experienced again on the stage.
