Introducing Hamburg's best Third Wave Places!
Coffee and Hamburg simply belong together. After all, every cup of coffee drunk in Germany enters the country via Hamburg. But it's not just the import that puts us at the forefront of coffee: in recent years a respectable Third-Wave scene has developed in Hamburg. "Third Wave" means the third wave of the coffee movement, which after the first success of filter coffee in the 50s and 60s and espresso drinks at the end of the 90s, is now bringing back brewed coffee, but in a quality never seen before. Third Wave stands for evaluating coffee (just like wine) according to its origin and bringing out different taste nuances during processing.

Barista art is also very popular in the heart of Eimsbüttel. In the Due Baristi of Eckhart Meyer and his partner Sener Sönmez there is always something going on. Together they are "Due Baristi" - two full professionals at the machine and bosses of the café of the same name in Eimsbüttel. 7.Zuckermonarchie

Whoever enters the Zuckermonarchie in St. Pauli for the first time immediately feels transported into an antique doll's house. The furnishings reflect what the kitchen makes: a colourful, exuberant variety of delicious and wonderfully unreasonable dishes. You immediately feel that the sugar monarchy was originally a catering company, because not only the quality, but also the visual presentation of the delicacies is sensationally good.
