Even if you take a taxi, you can do something for better air. The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the Hamburg business community have launched the Air Quality Partnership. Member companies have committed themselves to reducing traffic-related air pollutants in the city. Particularly low-emission taxi models are awarded the environmental taxi label. The vehicles run on alternative drive systems and thus reduce carbon dioxide and nitrogen emissions. Environmental taxis can be recognised by a large sticker on the bonnet and, since 2018, also by a sticker. If you call your taxi via one of the taxi centres, you can request a certain vehicle - for example with an electric drive. CO² can be saved even when you take a taxi!
