Stage Theater an der Elbe

The musical journey begins at the floating dock – called the ''Landungsbrücken''. From here the visitors are transported across the Elbe to the brand-new Stage Theatre, which offers a sensational view of Hamburg’s skyline.

The new theatre is an architectural gem due to the ten thousand sparking shingles made of stainless steel and its twelve meter high glass facade. Additionally, the interior offers a gorgeous two-story foyer with an open gallery, appealing bars and contemporary art for the guests to explore. Furthermore, the wonderful theatre offers 1850 seats to watch the musical artistry perform at its highest standards.


  • The entrance to the theatre can be accessed without using steps (via the stage entrance from the street Birkenau).
  • The ticket booths can be accessed without the use of stairs.

  • The theatre hall (stalls) is accessible by a lift/without steps.
  • There are two designated spaces for wheelchair users in the stalls.



  • The theatre buffet in the theatre foyer is accessible by a lift/without steps.
  • Over and underground car parks

  • The toilets can be accessed by a lift/without steps.
  • A toilet for wheelchair users is available.
  • There are handrails on both sides of the toilet.
  • A wheelchair will fit under the wash basin.
