Hagenbeck Zoo – admission

Hagenbeck Zoo offers an individual experience for everyone. It is particularly well known for its panoramas and outdoor enclosures. The zoo is home to over 1,860 animals including representatives from every continent. There are 210 species in total and the successful breeding program includes a number of endangered species. Hagenbeck is a safe haven for many animals, including orang-utans, North Chinese leopards and giant South American otters. One particular highlight is a large herd of Asian elephants. And now there is a brand new attraction: a 8,000 m² polar landscape where you can get unforgettably close to penguins, walruses and polar bears, even under water.
