Harbour boat trip

From the town hall to the Elbe Philharmonic Hall

This walking tour from the town hall to Speicherstadt and HafenCity features narrow alleyways and large merchant houses, canals and warehouses, and covers everything from cholera to the great fire of 1842. As a sightseeing walk, it gives an insight into how Hamburg became a world-famous port and encourages visitors to continue exploring by themselves.

Port tour on land and on water

This tour is a real all-round experience and lets you discover the port by foot and by ship. It starts with a walk through the Old Elbe Tunnel. You then climb aboard a launch for a cruise around Hamburg’s port where you will get a traditional fish roll to replenish your energy. At the end of the tour you will explore the Speicherstadt and HafenCity by foot.
