Hamburg Kunsthalle

The three distinctive buildings of the Hamburg Kunsthalle art gallery are home to one of the most important public art collections in Germany, featuring works from seven centuries of art history. Frequently changing exhibitions of the museum's renowned collections show how art has developed from the Middle Ages until the present day. Over 700 works are on permanent display. Most of the more modern pieces are in the Gallery of Contemporary Art.
