TravelService - Door to door

The Deutsche Bahn TravelService knows not only train schedules but also when trams and buses arrive and how long it takes to get from the stop to the museum by foot.

*For certain routes/trains (such B. ICE Sprinter), reservations and if necessary, additional charges, are required.

**Children 5 years and under travel free on DB routes. **Children 6 to 14 years travel free when accompanied by their parents/grandparents but require their own ticket, so please specify at time of booking. Without parents/grandparents, children aged 6 to 14 years receive a 50% discount as a "Child Travelling Alone". Details are subject to change before booking.

Hamburg is easily accessible with the four long-distance railway stations which are integrated into the Intercity Express (ICE) and InterCity (IC) network: Hamburg Central Station, Hamburg Dammtor, Hamburg-Altona and Hamburg-Harburg. The ICE railway station Hamburg Dammtor is right next to the Congress Centrum Hamburg.

There are direct connections to Hamburg from most major German cities. Those coming from a smaller town will probably have to change trains, but it still guarantees you will arrive without the stress of traffic in Hamburg. During a train journey you have the time to relax or work. In addition to the bus companies, there are also numerous taxi companies who advertise their services at Hamburg central station so can also get to your destination conveniently from there.
